Osage Trails is the Missouri Master Naturalist chapter for the greater Kansas City metropolitan region. Our name refers to the Osage Nation, one of the original Native American civilizations to inhabit the area.
This Master Naturalist chapter was founded in 2006 and has since had hundreds of certifications.
Our impact on the KC-region:
In 2025 our chapter members volunteered 13,640 hours with more than 23 partner organizations.
- 4,755 hours on land stewardship projects
- 2,905 hours of public education / community engagement
- 2,080 hours of community science
